Google Plus profile banner images

If you're wanting to learn how to turn your Google Plus about page images into a banner, you're in the right place. This is not an automatic solution to do all the work for you, this requires some photo editing. If you're not comfortable with that, send me the picture you want or get a friend with Photoshop to help you, it's very quick and easy. Plus, this method won't require your Google account username/password or add any advertising watermark to your banner when it's done.

Photoshop method (PSD file method)

If you have Photoshop, grab the Google Plus Banner Overlay (PSD Photoshop file) and simply paste the picture you want as a layer below the overlay. Line it up exactly how you want it to appear on your profile, then Save for Web & Devices. The picture squres will be sliced out and named numerically so you can easily sort them and upload them on your Google Plus profile.

Other graphics program (PNG file method)

If you don't have Photoshop, but you have some other graphic editing software, grab the Google Plus Banner Overlay (PNG file) and use that as an overlay. If your graphics software supports PNG images, the picture squares will be transparent, and you can line up your picture exactly how you want it to look on your profile, and then cut out the squares.

No graphics software (poor man's method)

Try finding a friend who has Photoshop and link them to this page or give them the PSD file above. Or, you can email me the picture you want and I'll do it when I have time and send the pictures back to you so you can upload them to your Google Plus profile (assuming I don't get over run with requests for help).
